1845

The Cataraqui was shipwrecked on the west coast of King Island, Bass Strait on 4th August 1845.
She had sailed from Liverpool, England with immigrants for the new colony of Port Phillip.
Only one passenger survived (Solomon BROWN) along with several of the crew.
